Did the Intro/refresher course and it was an amazing experience! Devin is a great instructor and very very patient. Explained rules and protocols very clearly and slowly. Made diving fun, memorable and safe. Some instructors explain things in a way to scare you so you'll follow the rules to the point where it's not even fun anymore but Devin WANTS you to have fun! Highly recommend! :D

We did 2 days of diving with Devin from Banzai Divers on Oahu. We are Great Lakes shipwreck divers. We went out of Honolulu to the Sea Tiger wreck twice and I have never seen such a nice wreck in salt water. It is upright and intact with amazing sealife. There was a huge green sea turtle, several white tip sharks, an eel, nudibranchs, frog fish and big schools of fish. We did our safety stop the first day in a bait ball and had dolphins on our surface interval! The shallow reefs had lots of turtles, eel and octopus. I had an epic diving day with Devin at Shark Cove! I am chronically early and Devin was there well before I was setting up and getting everything ready for us. He was super friendly and patient. I got certified when I was 18, I am 44 now, and since then I have been diving only a few times 6 years ago in Monterey, CA. Almost everyone else in my group was either newly certified or limited experience. Devin made sure we were empowered with the confidence to have a safe and fun dive. The directions given were spot on. The fact that he has a huge red van made it really easy. The equipment was in good working order and he provided everything I needed. The guidance through the cove was fantastic! You could probably rent all you gear for a little less than paying Devin but you will miss out on all of his experience. We saw several turtles, tons of fish, several eels, a few octopuses, and even a ray. I would have missed most of that if Devin wasn't there to point it out.If you are a new or inexperienced diver and are thinking of diving in Hawaii, DO IT! Our snorkeling trips depart daily from Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor located conveniently adjacent to Waikiki Beach. Join us for a two hour snorkeling excursion to Waikiki’s Turtle Canyons.

Even though turtles are wild animals it is incredibly rare to come on one of our Waikiki snorkeling cruises and not get a chance to snorkel with turtles!

During your Honolulu snorkeling tour you will learn how to observe with the marine life in a responsible way. Giving the turtles room so that they feel comfortable to catch their breath on the surface as well as never touching the turtles are a few things you can do to keep Hawaiian green sea turtles safe for years to come.
